Hey there! I’m John, also known as ‘Saucey.’ I am the writer behind “Teal Takeaways” and I am super excited to get this blog started. The absolute main goal behind this blog is to inform not just Sharks fans specifically, but any fan of hockey that may come across this blog, too. The San Jose Sharks don’t play out of the biggest hockey market, therefore as a huge fan, I am taking it upon myself to give them the media outlet they deserve. I have been playing ice hockey since I was five years old. I currently play for my college where I play in the ACHA Division One. I am also studying to complete my Business Administration degree. I have been a die-hard Sharks fan since I was 10 years old where I was able to witness Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau in their prime! Playing the sport for as long as I have, allows me to properly understand every aspect of the game in order to confidently and comfortably speak my mind in regards to this hockey team.
